Today, I had the distinct pleasure of visiting the Crowne Plaza, Pune to experience their acclaimed Sunday Brunch at the MOSAIC outlet. From the moment I entered, the ambiance was nothing short of captivating.

The dining room interiors struck a perfect balance between contemporary elegance and inviting comfort, characterized by warm, ambient lighting and stylish, modern décor. The design aesthetic seamlessly integrated elements of sophistication with a relaxed, welcoming vibe, making it an ideal setting for an indulgent brunch.

The spacious layout of MOSAIC, which can comfortably accommodate up to 170 guests, was thoughtfully designed to ensure both intimacy and a sense of openness. This careful attention to space planning allowed for a cosy yet refined atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience. The seating arrangements were diverse, catering to both small gatherings and larger groups, while maintaining a sense of privacy and exclusivity.

One of the standout features of the MOSAIC brunch experience was the meticulously curated culinary offerings. The buffet spread was extensive, featuring a diverse array of dishes that catered to a wide range of palates. From traditional Indian delicacies to global cuisine, each dish was prepared with an emphasis on quality and authenticity. The live cooking stations added an interactive element, allowing guests to engage with the chefs and customize their dishes to their preferences.

Yes! The buffet spread was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing a diverse array of culinary delights. As I wandered through the different stations, each dish caught my eye with its meticulous presentation and inviting aroma. The live stations were particularly engaging, with options like Mexican quesadillas, pastas, dosas, and street foods, alongside the delightful Rabri Malpua.

Among the starters, the Tulsi Paneer Tikka and Peri Peri Corn Cheese Balls stood out for their vibrant flavours and perfect seasoning. The Vietnamese Chicken Satay and Murgh Tikka Afghani were tender and succulent, each bite bursting with authentic spices.

Moving on to the soups, the Mulligatawny Soup for vegetarians and the Lung Fung Soup for non-vegetarians were both excellent, offering a comforting start to the meal. The freshly baked breads complemented the soups beautifully, adding a warm, homely touch.

The hot Indian buffet was a treasure trove of flavours. The Hyderabad Veg Biryani and Kolkata Murgh Dum Biryani were aromatic and perfectly cooked. The Paneer Angoori Kofta and Dal Peshawari were also notable, offering creamy textures and robust flavours.

In the Asian buffet, the Veg Dumpling Manchurian and Singaporean Burnt Garlic Noodles were highlights, showcasing a delicate balance of spices and textures. The Pan-European section was equally impressive, with Sesame Tossed Green Veggies with Couscous and Paneer Roasted Bell pepper & Cottage Cheese Ravioli in Makhan Cream Sauce standing out for their unique combinations and rich sauces. The Kaffir Lime & Galangal Grilled Fish with Lemony Herb Butter Sauce was perfectly cooked, with a refreshing hint of citrus.

However, the GOBHI MUSALLAM stole the show with its rich taste and depth of flavour. The dish was a masterpiece, with a blend of spices that elevated the humble cauliflower to a gastronomic delight. This specific dish, in particular, left an indelible impression with its exquisite flavour, making it a highlight of an already outstanding culinary journey.

The dessert section deserves special mention. A visual and gastronomic delight, it boasted an impressive selection of sweets and pastries, artfully presented to tempt the senses. All of them were a fitting end to the meal, with a selection of Indian sweets and bakery delights that satisfied every sweet tooth.

The culinary team at MOSAIC, under the expert leadership of Executive Chef Subhajit and Executive Sous Chef Nitish, was a powerhouse of talent and creativity. This distinguished brigade included the exceptional Chef Debasis, the Indian Chef de Cuisine, along with Chef Amulya and Chef Ashok, both esteemed Chef de Parties. Their combined expertise, artistic aptitude, and dedication to culinary excellence culminated in a dining experience that was both memorable and extraordinary. Each dish they crafted was a testament to their skill and passion, elevating the brunch to new heights of gastronomic delight.

And finally, a few words about the Dining Room Service. Service at MOSAIC was exemplary, reflecting the high standards synonymous with the Crowne Plaza brand. The staff was attentive and courteous, ensuring that every need was met with promptness and a smile. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to provide recommendations enhanced the overall dining experience, making guests feel valued and well-cared for.

Undoubtedly, the service was impeccable, with a dedicated brigade that included Bidia, Sayan, Dipayan, Akshay, Saumik, and Dnyanesh, all under the expert guidance of Mr. Puran, Avinash, Rajat and Mr. Maruti (F&B M). Their attentiveness and professionalism enhanced the overall experience, making it a truly unforgettable brunch.

In summary, the Sunday Brunch at MOSAIC in the Crowne Plaza Pune is a master class in hospitality and culinary excellence. The harmonious blend of luxurious interiors, a vast and varied menu, and impeccable service makes it a premier destination for brunch enthusiasts seeking a memorable and indulgent dining experience.

I highly recommend visiting the MOSAIC outlet at the Crowne Plaza Pune to experience their exceptional Sunday Brunch. It's an indulgence your palate will thank you for, truly worth every moment and bite.
